About the Library
The Halle Library serves the Endicott College community as a hub of information resources and is a major source of support for the College's academic curriculum. Whether you are a freshman working on a specific assignment, a senior gathering sources for your literature review or a graduate/doctoral student, you will find the library a welcoming place. We are air-conditioned and have wireless access. As the photo shows, students often work comfortably at the library tables. We also have more than 20 public computer stations for you to use.
The library houses a print book collection of over 120,000 volumes as well as 140,000 e-books and subscribes to over 95 periodical titles in paper format. The library website serves as the gateway to a wide array of electronic resources that provide full-text for hundreds of thousands of individual journal articles.
Originally built in 1965, the library underwent a total renovation in 1997 and a major expansion that was dedicated to Diane M. Halle in May 2002.
